Guide: A knowledgeable local professional English-speaking guide will accompany you. The tour starts from Phnom Penh city, and you will board a local ferry with your tuk-tuk to cross the Mekong River and head to the island. ① Morning Local Market: Upon arrival on the island, you will stroll through a lively outdoor market bustling with locals. While listening to your guide's explanations, you can sample unique Cambodian tropical fruits and traditional local snacks. ② Traditional Silk Weaving Workshop: Visit a stilt house and observe traditional silk and cotton hand-weaving techniques that have been passed down for generations. The process from raising silkworms to spinning the thread and weaving beautiful cloth on a single loom is a true artisanal feat. ③ Tofu Skin Making Workshop: We will visit a small workshop in Koh Dak village that has been making tofu skin for decades, run by a family. This is a valuable cultural experience where you can learn firsthand about local wisdom and traditional industries rooted in the region. ④ Drive through Beautiful Rural Villages and Buddhist Temples (Mekong Farmland & Temple): We will ride in a tuk-tuk, speeding along picturesque country roads with orchards, rice terraces, and tranquil farmland. Along the way, we will stop at a beautiful local Buddhist temple (wat) and experience Cambodian religion and culture.
